1. The advantages of the air-conditioning systems
1.1. It makes possible the adjust of the wished temperature of the room. It protect us from droop and heat-stroke is avoidable. It provides the fast work of the reflexes and makes traveling possible even in the hardest driving periods.
1.2. It decreases the humidity of the air int he car. It holds the windows moisture-free so it widens the sight and so the safety.
1.3. It works like an air-filter even in the cars in which there can’t be found pollen-filter. From the air coming through the evaporator the substantive particles separate out (pollen, etc.) touching the wet surface and they will be removed with the waste.
1.4. It makes possible the comfortable driving with closed windows. The uncomfortable air-blast breaks off in the car which would result cold and rheumatic problems. It eliminates the external noises so it makes possible for the passengers the normal conversations and the full enjoyment of the audio system of the car.
1.5. If you switch on the recirculation the afflictive smell can not get into the car. This can be worked till the outer bad circumstances exist.
2. The function of the air-conditioning system
The function of the air-conditioners rests on the physical laws of the evaporation and condensation of the refrigerant.
The compressor that gets its drive with V-shaped belt and through the electromagnetic clutch, comprises the refrigerant and so it increases its temperature over the outside temperature. So the refrigerant condenses into fluid in the condenser and the heat quantity goes with the air-current of the electric air-blower outside.
The refrigerant goes through the drying filter which filters out the substantive pollutions and the humidity. In the following step the expansive damper decreases the pressure of the refrigerant so its temperature drops off.
In the next phase of evaporation (liquid-gas) the heat quantity in the car is delivered to the refrigerant through the evaporator by the electric air-blower. So coming back to the car it will be fresh and without vapour containment. The congregated vapour on the tray of the evaporator gets outside through one or more outlet tubes.
The working air-conditioner provides the suitable air-conditioning together with the heater working with the coolant of the engine.
With this combination all the wished circumstances (temperature and relative humidity) can be reached inside the car independent of the outside weather.
So for example cooled dry air in summer or heated dry air in winter. The regulation of the air-conditioning appliance can be manual or automatic (electronic).
3. Advices in connection with the air-conditioning systems
In the interest of the long lifetime and good functioning of the air-conditioning systems observe the directions for use and maintenance!
- All the year at least weekly once switch on the air-conditioning appliance of your car for five minutes in order that the oil that circulates with the refrigerant should not let the rubber components drain.
- With a car warmed up in the sun you should air before leaving with working engine and air-conditioner on maximal spraying degree with opened windows!
- The air-current should never be directed on your body (the temperature of the outcoming air can be even 2°C).
- Do not cool your car with more than 8-12°C according to the outside temperature (the human organism can tolerate a temperature change higher and faster than this only with difficulties).
- Use your air-conditioner mainly with outside air spraying! Inner air-circulation is suggested only in reasonable cases (e.g. uncomfortable outer smell) and only for the necessary time!
- Bear in mind that the use of the air-conditioner decreases the power of the engine! Drive carefully!
- Make sure regularly that the waste can leave without hindrances! (plash under the car)
- If it is possible park in shadow or use light-reflecting filling!
- The pollen-filter of the ventilation system should be changed every 8-10000km!
- In winter it gets warm air if the air-conditioner is switched on besides heating that defrost excellent.
- In case of unordinary, unpleasant smell, noise ask for help at the service-station.
